please could someone tell me if this is correct behavior?

I have created port channel (po1) using two interfaces gi1, gi2 (without use of LACP). Once I have tried to disable some of port channel member using:

interface gi 1

shutdown

nothing happen. the port gi1 remains UP (confirmed using show interfaces status) and does not transits to DOWN state. but I can see "shutdown" statement in in output from "show run int gi 1".

As I remember on Cisco Catalyst the similar disabling of portchannel member results with disabling requested interface/port member. But not here on SG switch. Using latest firmware version 1.3.7.18.

questions:

- is this correct behavior? or perhaps is this bug?

- how way can I disable portchannel port member?
