Configuring WPA2 in CISCO AIRONET AP

I'm tconfiguring a new Aironet 1142 wireless access point with the web
configuration utility. I only need a simple single SSID, no VLANs, and a
WPA2 autentication password (I can't let it with a 128 bits wep password
because the ap is for normal random users). The thing is that when im
configuring the wpa it ask me for a radius server... and I just need a
simple access point. If you guys can help me with the cli or web configuration
 I'll be grateful

Do check this guide its a basic config guide as required

I already have configured those parameters, but what I need is a simple WPA password authentication, and those options always take me to the radius configuration somehow... can be done? what I want? configure wpa like a normal AP?

you need to configure static WEP with static key

http://networking-newbie.blogspot.com/2008/11/configuring-wpa-and-wpa2-on-cisco.html

or

check this link for command line configuration

http://networking-newbie.blogspot.com/2008/11/configuring-wpa-and-wpa2-on-cisco.html

Note:

donot select this it mean different here

WPA—Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) permits wireless access to users authenticated against a database through the services of an authentication server and encrypts their IP traffic with stronger algorithms than those used in WEP. As with EAP authentication, you must enter the IP address and shared secret for an authentication server on your network (server authentication port 1645).

Hi,

What type of security do you want to use?

PSK (preshared key, just a static password) or 8021.X authentication?

Hi,

Configure your AP as autonomous AP and then select the security mode WPA-Personal instead of WPA-Enterprise.
