Cisco WCS using ACS 5.3 with Radius

I've run into an issue attempting to get our WCS box authenticating properly to our "new" ACS 5.3.  Our ACS uses an external radius for its external identity Stores, this is a token server.  This is working correctly for our WLCs, but I am unable to get it to work our our WCS.  For our WLCs, we have the Access Service as an External Proxy, this works great.  I need to use the same service for our WCS, or at least the same external radius token server.  However, since this is an external proxy (Access Service), there is no option to add a rule and point it to a shell profile.  When logging into the WCS, the user needs the correct role and tasks.  The only guides I have seen are for the use of TACACS+, and not Radius.  Is this something that was left of our 5.3?  Is there another method I should try?
