Trying to increase the number of IP addresses on our network.

Hello,

We have a Microsoft DHCP server which has run out of addresses on our current /24 scope. I have created a superscope, with another /24 address in DHCP, and we have an RV215W connected to the ISP as a gateway. How do I configure the RV215W to utilize two different LAN addresses for the superscope to allow traffic to pass through a single WAN address on this router.

Ex. Current Scope: x.x.24.0/24

Additional address: x.x.26.0/24

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ,

Your RV215W wont support for secondary IP address , only option for your to expand your subnet mask from 24 to 23 on your LAN interface .

Like XX.XX.24.0/23

Configure your DHCP scope accordingly to support /23 sub net .
