Dear all,

I have deployed a Cisco C819G-4G-G-K9 using a SIM card Bouygues Telecom (France).

Their 4G signal is not already stable in the customer's site and they propose us to force the router to use HSPA+ technology but Cisco only propose me GSM, UMTS or LTE.

Anyone knows how can be the modem forced to use HSPA+ technology please?

Kind regards,

Camilo Ramirez

Hello Camilo,

It depend on modem type.

If you tell me the modem type I can check the config for you or you can refer this link for basic configuration of HSPA+.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/routers/access/800/819/software/configuration/Guide/819_SCG/3routconf.html

let me know it helps you,

Cheers!

Shain

Hello Shain,

Thanks for your replay.

We have a Cisco C819G-4G-G-K9 but I don't know how to see the modem type.

I executes the command: show cellular 0 hardware to have more information.

Modem Firmware Version = SWI9200X_03.05.19.04
Modem Firmware built = 2012/09/17 17:57:14
Hardware Version = 10

We use the chat-script: "" "AT!CALL1" TIMEOUT 20 "OK"

In fact, the modem is working in 4G but I cannot force it to HSPA+

What do you thing about it?

Cheers,

Camilo Ramirez
