WAP4410N Wireless client/repeater mode not working

I have a wireless network which I don't have administration access to the AP. However I would like to extend the range of the network.

Have I misunderstood something or isn't this what the 'Wireless client/repeater'-mode is for?

Because I can't seem to get it to work. Has anyone had any luck with this mode? What am I missing?

I believe you'd require administrative rights.

Hello,

It will not work as you will need to havE access to he main AP to add the MAC address of the WAP4410N as a trusted repeater. Without this, the main one won't pass any traffic to your WAP.

I hope this was helpful
