Hi,
I have a callmanager 7.1.5 and the callmanager is configured with a hostname.
DNS is configured correctly and the phone register correct.
We want to remove the DNS, and this means we have to make the callmanager/phones independent from DNS
Can I just change the server name (system/server) from name to IP and do a reboot?
Thanks
JH

You will also need to change the Service URLs from a hostname to an IP address. They're found under "Enterprise Parameters>Phone URL Parameters"

Hi,
I know about the enterprise parameters, but for the moment I am only concerned to go from host name to IP address.
Do you have a link or so describing this?
Thanks,
JH
