ucs sanboot - brocade switch cannot see the ucs blade wwn/wwpn

I have my brocade switch connected to my FIs, in the brocade switch I can see the FI WWN/wwpns. but When I power on a server, I cannot see th servers wwn/wwpn on the server

 

 

any idea?

I assume you have FI setup in FC end host mode ? this is mandatory !!

Which OS do you have ? the Brocade has to be setup according to NPIV mode (they Access Gateway Mode)

From the FI you can also do the following to check if the FIs are "learning" the WWNs of the HBAs in question.

 

(nxos)# sho npv flogi-table

 

Don't forget to check your vsan settings.
