Good day everyone! I am new to the cisco devices and i'm configuring my 2960-S series. I wan't to isolate certain Vlan.

How am i going to isolate certain vlan in routing to other vlan. My purpose in connecting certain devices to that vlan is just to provide internet connection, i don't to provide it route to other vlan. Thank you very much!

Hi,

With reference to your query my understanding is this that you want users on specific vlan should not talk to users in another vlan but these users should be able to access internet. First of all cisco 2960 switches are L2 switches and dosent do any routing so for intervlan routing you need to have a router or a layer 3 switch. And using ACL (access-lists) you can restrict the traffic as per your requirement. However you can use protect port feature (depending on the your ios version) to restrict access on 2960 aswell for this refer the link below.
