Hello,

Received an ASA 5505 from my boss and was tasked to fix it. It constantly boots into ROMMON mode, seems that the flash has been completely wiped. Boot to ROMMON and put in the information needed to load image to RAM. Once I attempt to do it and reboot, I get the error message that the checksum verification on installed image failed. After downloading the image, I did a checksum verification and it came up good. I am using tftpd to transfer the file.

Things I have tried are:

Checking confreg (it is currently 0x01)
Verifying checksum of downloaded image
Tried different image from Cisco (847, 847-15, 9.03)
Tried copying the files directly to the CF card through a CF reader. Copy was successful, boot was not successful.

Any help would be appreciated.
