CDR files missing from cdr_repository after running a run sql car select * statement ??

Hi all,

Hoping someone may able to provide some advice.  I need to export all cdr records between 'datea' and dateb'.

To do this, I started out by ssh'ing into the pub and doing a 'run sql car select * from tbl_billing_data where date(datetimestamporigination) between 'datea' and 'dateb'

A lot of data came up on the screen, so then I ran 'file list activelog /cm/cdr_repository/preserve/ and a list of date directories appeared.  All the directories listed were from the 'dateb', as if all the dates prior to this date have been deleted.  Is it possible that from running the sql command it has actually removed those cdr records or moved the somewhere else?  Hoping they are still recoverable, any advice appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Erina

Hi Erina,

The sql queries you mentioned will not delete or push the files to some different folder. Do you have a billing server setup for this cluster? Please check the section "Troubleshoot: CDR Files not being transfered to billing server" of the following link
