I am new to networking. I have a CISCO 3800 series router. I do have admin access, moreover I can configure it using CLI through Hyper terminal. I would like to ask if there is some GUI (maybe web based) that I can also use to check and perform configuration...Thanks

You could use SDM to manage this router. It is worth noting that the GUI is very limited and learning the CLI will be very useful.

In addition to SDM you have an option on the router to enable http server and the secure server. If you enable one or both of these you should be able to manage and configure the router using a normal browser session.
