Hi,
I have a customer with a BE6000 system running CUCM 9.0 who wants to go to CUCM 10.5.
The BE6000 is currently running ESXi 5.0 and we want to go to 5.5 as part of the upgrade.
There is a Cisco custom ISO now for 5.5 but I am unsure how to perform the upgrade. This particular customer does not have a vCenter server.
Is it as simple as powering down the VMs and the UCS then booting from the 5.5 ISO?
Is there a simple way of backing up the ESXi configuration before I do this?
Thanks

James,
Very simple process, mount the vmware ISO, put virtual machines in maintenance mode, reboot the server and select upgrade with keeping all data, takes all of 15 minutes or so.

I had this a while ago while I was planning to upgrade my esxi servers
