AIR LAP1142N-A-K9 Not sending discovery request AP does

We have 2 LAP1142N that quit working on 10/2/2014 - we have 2 other AIR-LAP1252AG-A-K9  that are working.

I tried RESET(30 seconds until LED turns red)  and SET IP_ADDR .... etc based on other forum replies

I set the BOOT flash:/c1140-rcvk9w8-mx/c1140-rcvk9w8-mx

Thinking that was the last good config however I still get:

Not sending discovery request AP does not have an Ip !!

I can telnet to a working AIR-LAP1252AG-A-K9 but  what commands can I use to find the correct settings for the problem LAP1142?
