Hi
I'm facing a problem with 3rd party ip phone (Grand stream) with the CUCM v6 & CUCM v8.6
the ip phone is registered successfully but every time I choose custom ringtone from ip phone it doesnt change inspite of it appeared in the ip phone as chosen.
I need to know how to debug registration of that specific ip phone.

Hey,
Did you try to collect on RTMT SDL/SDI traces when you're appling the changes? Also collect TFTP traces from your servers.

but I already tried RTMT but when view real time traces ,there is a lot of logs appeared I cant filter it to that specific ip phone

Hi Mahmoud,
You can do on this way:
- On RTMT go to: System Tools TraceTrace Log & Central then click
-Collect the files for SDL/SDI and TFTP
- Download it to your laptop and use Notepad++ to search on the traces using specifc phones information such MAC Address, phone extension and so on.

I found good way I'd like to share
from cisco serviceability > trace > configuration
check " Device Name Based Trace Monitoring"
then select the specific device you want to trace it
then from RMTM you will find traces for that specific ip phone
