802.11ac and n channel interoperability via DCA

Hi there,

We are using a combination of 1142 and 2702 APs on our 5508 WLC running 7.6.120.0.  I'm hoping to see if anyone can share their experiences with how DCA works between both ac/n access points with the channel width is set to 80MHz.  Mainly, will the 802.11n APs work in the 40MHz width while the ac devices work in the 80MHz width?

Hopefully this is an easy one!

Thanks!

Yes, it will work like that where 802.11ac AP work with 80MHz width & 802.11n work with 40MHz. You have to simply set the DCA channel width to 80MHz.
