Please help to clarify difference between "SmartNet for AP adder license for Controller" vs "SmartNet for AP".

You pay SNT for the AP.  If the AP fails, Cisco will immediately replace your AP. 

SmartNet for AP adder license for Controller

SNT for the amount of AP your WLC can support.

For further clarity, let me put this scenario: I have WLC covered under smartnet and I am adding AP license to it, is it mendatory to buy SmartNet for AP adder license to keep my WLC covered under it's existing SmartNet?
