Finesse Login Issue

Hello,

 

I am getting below error while login on Cisco  Finesse. and this is happening only for Cisco 7941 phones

Error - " The device associated with that extension or dial number is invalid."

 

I already tried troubleshooting steps mentioned in the below discussion

CM version -  9.1.2

UCCE - 9.0.4

Hi,

Can you verify if this was working before? have you tried restarting the Cisco Tomcat service from the Finesse server?

We recently upgraded CUCM and UCCE to latest version. Agents are able to login with other phones except few Cisco 7941.

Ensure the mac is associated to the RMCM Application User

Other phones are working fine and this is happening only with 7941 phones ( few 7941 phones are working) I already removed phone from RMCM application user and added again - but no luck

Desktop-webservices logs from finesse  server

 

Note -  we are facing this issue with 79XX phones ( some 79xx phones works fine with out any issues)

Do some 7941 phones work and not other?

Hi,

 

Could you fix this issue?, I have the same issue with and UCCE 11.6 and CUCM 11.5

7941 are not on the compatibility matrix for UCCE 11.6

Hi,

 

in my case we are using 7945. Agents work with Extension Mobility.

 

If we change the DN on Device Profile, the agent can login to Finesse without problem, but if we change the old DN then the loging fails, here is the log on finesse locallogs desktop:
