hello guys,

I have a problem with a cisco 3850 and need ideas to try to overcome it.

we have updated the 3850 version to 7.3.00.
with the site admin user privilege 15 I can access the wired page ... but if I try to access the wireless part with the same credentials gives the following error:

Authentication failed.
User 'admin' does not have required privilege. Please contact system admin.

anyone know what may be ??!?
I have the switch connected to a tacacs but even with user tacacs does not work.

gives Authentication username or password failed. Please verify the credentials but are fine.

did a little test:

removed the following commands:
aaa authorization exec default group tacacs + local
aaa authorization commands 1 default group tacacs + if-authenticated
aaa authorization commands 15 default group tacacs + if-authenticated

Now i have access to wireless GUI ... but lose access CLI...

can you help me?!please.

Revert back the firmware and check again.

Also "Authentication failed" means your port is working fine for http but credentials issues are there.so please create new account for wireless with Admin rights on tacacs .
