Every system admin out there is aware of however essential it's to backup your system on regular basis, SAN materials aren't any exception. you would like to backup your SAN switch configuration on regular basis (i hump daily) to be able to use endure hardware failures or from human errors. ancient approach to fitting switch backups is to setup associate degree external TFTP/SFTP/FTP server, write a script that may execture backup commands so user crontab/task manager to execute these commands. conjointly on Cisco MDS you may make the most of internal computer hardware to accomplish a similar tasks.I have some sensible work experience with a Kochi taxi service ( http://buddycab.in )and my words square measure clearly supported what I felt through such processes within the past.
