Hi All,
I have an scenario which is attached in attachment Now my question is below acc. to scenario.
My question is why we can't make VFC over VPC. when i did VFC over VPC it's not coming UP. WHy we have to run dedicated link for FCoE traffic like eth 1/5 and 1/6
Why it can't run over VPC link. if it so then how could it be True in case of FCoE storage in same scenario both VPC and VFC on same link eth 1/32 on both nexus switches i.e. also VPC link
Kindly help.

In FCoE you're emulating the behavior of FC fabric over ethernet.
There is no need for VSANs (or FCoE VLANs) to cross over between Nexus switches.
VPC is possible on the links to storage.

Thanks for your answer.
But if i want to do cross FCoE vlans between nexus switches over VPC instead of Dedicated FCoE link.
It it possible?if not, Why?

Hello Marcin
You siad vpc is possible on storage links. But i think it is possible only in case of fex topology.
because in attached scenario if we allowed data vlan over vfc links (FCoE) in addition with vpc links. There would be a loop because switch sees one link as a vpc and other link as vfc. So spanning will block one of the link out of vpc or vfc for that data vlan only.
Pls correct me if i am wrong.
