Hi,
We returned from the weekend and found the VSOM admin user "credential invalid". No idea how this happened, and if the pw expired not clear why we never got prompted to reset it.
Anyways looking through the docs I am not seeing a way to reset the admin password. And naturally this is the only user with the local_admin role, my rest are operators.
Anyone know how to reset the admin password? Logged into VSMC but didn't see a place there (wouldn't make sense anyways).

Interesting. Can you check the audit logs with the localadmin account via the VSMC portal?
I just checked mine and noticed a useraccount I didn't recognize! 'newvsmadmin' connecting via loopback. Not sure if this is something new, or if it's something I just missed until now.
I'm wondering if you can recover/reset the 'admin' password via root access on the VSOM server itself? I haven't looked into myself though. Perhaps I'll poke at it later when I have time.
If you figure something out, let us know!

Login to VSOM server via ssh.
use username - localadmin with password
run the below command, it would have the default password.
# sudo sh /usr/BWhttpd/vsom_be/db/resetAdminUser.sh

Hello all,
is there a way to reset vsf (Federator) admin password too?
