Hi ,

We are facing a issue in CVP that we could not able to see any logs in Activity folder on specific application on Side B, whereas side has all the logs captured.

Please let us know what could be causing this and what is solution for this issue?

the reason would be no call would have hit application on side B.

HI Chitan,

No, Side B was Active during the time which  we trying to trace the logs. Where logs are available for all the other application except only one.

Suggestion pls

The only thing I can think of is that you have a different app running on side B. I don't believe there's a server wide setting to disabled activity logs, but you can disable it for a whole application in the properties.

I know it might sound silly, but you're 100% sure the call went to this server and this application?

Hi,

The Customer has the same issue. Does anybody know what can make application force to have no activity logs?

As Chintan mentioned two years ago, it's very possible that the call used one CVP Server for its Call Server service and another CVP server for its VXML service. If you don't see activity logs, then I just can't see how the application got invoked on the VXML server that you were expecting to. A lot of folks confuse this... its the VXML service that launches the CVP applications.

The only other thing I can think of is that someone inserted purge tags into the Global Error Logger with some ridiculous conditions. Can you verify that the CVP servers are not purging files from calls generated today?

if you can recreate the issue then please do that and attach CVP call server logs.

that would give the VXML application url.

its not always necessary that the same side of call server and VXML server handles the same call. defiantly you can do that with some special configuration.

its is possible that call would have arrived on Call server side A and would be treated by application running on VXML server on Side B.
