Vlan interface on router

hi

I am trying to carry vlan information over wan using proxy-arp concept.. just want help weather it is possible to do so or not.. if Yes than can anyone please help me by giving detail configuration for said network diagram.

 

Also when i create interface vlan on router  1841..its showing down .. how to make this interface up.. is it possible??

Hello.

To make SVI interface up you need:

 - create vlan in vlan database;

 - have at least one port up/up assigned to the VLAN.

 

btw, it's not possible to solve your task with proxy-arp.

Typically if you need to extend VLAN over WAN, you should use L2TPV3 (supported on 1811 with advipservices or adventerprise images).
