SIP trunk to Alcatel OXE issues

Hi All

I have had issues with a SIP trunk to one of our older telephone systems, The SIP trunk on the Alcatel system can only be built to 1 ip address on the call manager, what I have found is phones which are in the same CM group where the trunk is built work fine, the phones that are on a different group/node dont work

We can only build the trunk to 1 ip from the Alacatel system, I see there is a tick box "Run on all active nodes" I have unticked this, would this now force the call to be made out of the node where the sip trunk is registered to?

We run call manager version 8.6

cheers

if "run on all active nodes" is unchecked, the SIP trunk will use the CUCM IP addresses from the CUCM Group assigned in Device pool of the SIP Trunk.

Please refer the below thread which has this topic explained more in details
