Cisco SX80 speaker track with dual display - problem

Hi All,

We have a problem with speaker track system on SX80 codec. It appears randomly.

Every couple of hours/days, second camera displays weird image on the screen(image attached).

We have tried to upgrade the codec fw, reset to factory defaults, double checked all cables, but problem remains. After restarting the codec, problem is gone for couple of hours/days and then appears again.

Any suggestions?

Hi Adam,

Since my original post we have experienced the same issue with MX800 system. In this case, upgrading to software release 7.3.3 solved the problem.

As for the SX80, we had to replace the camera since it was faulty.

We saw something similar on an MX 700, where the checker board image starting appearing. Diagnostics showed one of the camera was faulty.

We had the same problem and in our case already 8 cameras have been replaced.

Sometimes the camera stops working with the error: Video has stopped....

Maybe production error?
