Hi,

we have a 6509E currently running s72033-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF10a.bin IOS. We would like to upgrade the IOS to a better version if that's possible. The switch has 512MB of RAM and 512MB of flash on disk1:

Thanks.

For Sup 720/MSFC3 this is the latest version.

Its up to you to decide which one you would like to run. Here are the good version for both:-

Suggested
15.1.2-SY4a(ED)
12.2.33-SXJ9(MD)
Latest

2)

12.2.33-SXJ9 >> this is the good version to be run on this platform.

You can compare the feature differences between IOS versions with the IOS Feature Navigator athttp://www.cisco.com/go/fn/

Some answer on 15 release:

Hi,

Are you having sup720/msfc3 ?

Probably you can think about 12.2.33-SXJ9 which is suggested release.
