AIR-LAP1602E-E-K9 as a point to point wireless bridge

I've been asked to set up a point to point wireless bridge (distance 50 metres) with a pair of AIR-LAP1602E-E-K9 access points.

Is that possible? I know they're not listed as wireless mesh capable.

They need to be controller based as this requires centralized management. Sounds like it's going to be outside as well, so they'll be a some sort of enclosure.

I do think you can change the mode from local to bridge, I don't have on in front of me, but if you have that option, then you can use mesh.  The issue is that you will need to pass all the vlans across and that can get tricky.  Take a look at this link as it explains it pretty good:

Setting them up as autonomous might be a bit easier to do though.
