Solved: UCM 9.1.2 phone message button dials main auto attendant instead of VM

I am having an issue where some phones message button when pushed dials the VM box and prompts for PIN (the behavior I want) but other phones when pushing the message button are dialing the auto attendant. Is this set on a phone to phone basis?

What the VM button dials when pushed, is controlled on CUCM by your VM profile and VM pilot, then it's up to your routing rules in CUC what you reach.
