OTV VLAN Showing Inactive(NA)

Hi

I have just completed my first OTV setup which is working as expected. I have 2 sites each with 2 x ASR routers on a stick setup. Not sure if this an issues or not but at one of the sites when i do "sh otv vlan" one of the ASR states is showing as Inactive(NA).

I can see all routers in the adjacency tables and the routes are there so not sure if this is something to be worried about.

Thanks

Inactive(NA) means it is Non AED which means your local ASR's are not able to communicate over ISIS internally since they make decision automatically who will be the forwarder for which vlan.

I'm sure you won't see local ASR under "show otv isis aed svr req local info" on which you see Inactive(NA)

show otv isis neighbor - this should show local ASR under "Tag Site"

Run adjacency debugs to check if they are exchanging ISIS packets.

the command is not valid and we see not Tag Site term or value
