Hi Mate,

Cisco Unity is already end of life. The product is already end of life and no longer being developed and completely replaced by Unity Connection so go for connection.

See: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/unified-communications/unity/index.html

NOTE: This product is no longer being sold and might not be supported. View the End-of-Life Notice to learn:
  • End-of-sale and end-of-life dates
  • What replacement products are available
  • Information about product support

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/unified-communications/unity/index.html

Also see EoL notice, it advises to migrate to connection:

Product Migration Options

There is no replacement available for the Cisco Unity 8.0 at this time.

Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco Unity Connection 8.x. Information about this product can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6789/ps5745/ps6509/data_sheet_c78-581627.html.
