Hi,
we have an Cisco 2821 in CME mode (Europe/Germany).
There are 4 ISDN Bri Ports in 2 VIC interface cards.
It is possible to configure 3 ports for normal PSTN access (emulate network) and one port for connecting an ISDN-phone.
The ISDN-phone will only doing calls to external parties.

By emulate network do you mean emulate user so that you can connected to PSTN?
As to "ISDN-Phone" I am not sure what that is, never heard of ISDN phone, do you mean analog phone?

Hi,
two question.
3 port for PSTN Access is connected to ISDN Port of your provider? In this case you don't need to emulate network.
For connect ISDN phone to your ISDN port, this port should be set in emulate mode (isdn protocol-emulated), because your port became NT port.
