Switch Port Problem

Hi All,

I'm getting following error.

 

783247: Jul  3 15:28:12.388 PDT: %ILPOWER-7-DETECT: Interface Gi2/15: Power Device detected: IEEE PD
783248: Jul  3 15:30:14.905 PDT: %ILPOWER-7-DETECT: Interface Gi2/15: Power Device detected: IEEE PD
783249: Jul  3 15:31:43.626 PDT: %ILPOWER-7-DETECT: Interface Gi2/15: Power Device detected: IEEE PD
783250: Jul  3 15:31:44.026 PDT: %C6K_POWER-SP-1-PD_HW_FAULTY: The device connected to port 2/15 has a hardware problem. Power is turned off on the port

 

Please help me to find out this errors..

Hi Prakalathan,

I suggest you check the device connected to port Power over Ethernet (PoE) Gi2/15 of its Catalyst 6K. It is likely that the device requires a greater supply of power to the port may offer. Check the device's specifications and your port.
