Upgrade ASA CX

I was trying to update my ASA 5525-X to version 9.3.X both the ASA and the CX module (the two have version 9.1.1).

The problem is that you upgrade your ASA to IOS 9.3.3 but can not update the CX module. I want to know if there is some kind of order in the update, also I want to know if I update the CX module boot.img since this is at version 9.1.1

Thank you for your support
.

You have to upgrade CX module separately.

Shutdown, uninstall.

Load the new boot image

and install system package. You're good to go.

While you do upgrade the CX image separately, you do not need to uninstall the current CX image or add a new boot image.

After upgrading the ASA you then use the PRSM (Prime Security Manager - GUI for the CX) web interface. Simply drag the new pkg file (available here - 9.3.3.2-15 is the latest version) into the upload area of the PRSM GUI after navigating to Administration > Upgrade and selecting "I want to ...add an upgrade image". Once the image is uploaded, select upgrade and the system will take it from there.
