Hello,
My customer has some Cisco 2835 PTZ Cameras which will be added into VSOM 7.6.0.
The IP address and DNS address configuration are set to static. The setting has been applied and looks OK for the DNS IP address.
After the cameras was added into VSOM 7.6.0, the DNS IP address in the camera disappear, which means need to re-assign the DNS IP address on each cameras.
Does the DNS IP address been overwrite by the VSOM after added into the VSOM?
The firmware of Cisco 2835 PTZ is 2.0.2-24.
Thank you.

VSOM doesn't apply any IP address changes to the camera, it only applies the camera template configuration back to camera.
Only while the camera are added the IP address are checked to make sure the communication is through and device communication is established.
UPGRADING THE CAMERA FIRMWARE TO 2.5 should help, minimum firmware version required for 7.6 is 2.5 version.
