Radio to LMR gateway cabling best practices

What are the recommended best practices regarding cables connecting the donor radio (or base station) to the LMR gateway E&M ports?

Specifically I'm looking for documentation of max length, cable type, etc. similar to EtherNet standards but specifically for IPICS environment. I've reviewed the SRND but haven't found any related info there.

The use case is that the radios/base station reside on the uppermost floor of a building and the LMR would reside on a lower floor in a datacenter. Cables would connect between the two locations.

hi,

your LMR (Land Mobile Radio) should be the base station Radio. there is an interface cable between the LMR and the RMS E&M port....depending on the type of radio you intend to use....the interface cable are of different types.
