Solved: Jabber Guest Ad-Hoc Links

Dear colleagues,

I´ve deployed Jabber Guest solution for a couple of customers.

One thing I could not make get working was the ad-hoc links. Whenever I try to place a call with jabber guest, I receive a 404 message unless I manually configure the link for some particular users.

Any crucial steps am I missing you may think of?

Off the top of my head, things to check:

Calling search space for your JG trunk; ensure it covers all the directory numbers you are trying to call.
Check your VCS search rules and ensure it will locate the pattern you are trying to pass.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for your reply.

The CSS for the trunk seems ok as long as we manually add the link for each user, pointing to ext@cucm.

But I agree with you, hopefully I can have it properly translated within the VCS server.
