Hello,

DCNM includes a database backup utility in the $INSTALLDIR/dcm/dcnm/bin/ directory.  There are 2 versions of the script, one for Oracle and one for postgres databases, and they both can be run from the command line of the server.  These scripts will create a database dump file (.dmp) which you can ftp off to another file server if desired.

For reference, here is the documentation on DCNM db backups:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/sw/7_2_x/fundamentals/DCNM_Fundamentals_7_2/fund_dbmaint.html#pgfId-1383271

Thanks,

Eric
