Is it possible to use a variable for File Event directory?

Is it possible to insert a variable for the Directory of a file event? In the below example I would like to replace 'F:\QA' with a variable.

 

Variable:

  Name: PMRootDir_QA

  Value:  F:\QA

 

File Event:

   Directory: F:\QA\Test

I don't think so. I agree it's a pain specifically if you have many file agents and folder locations need to be updated

Hi Michael,

 

As Dinesh pointed out a variable is not possible in a File Event.

 

Have you tried looking into a File Dependency instead? With a File Dependency you can utilize variables.
