Cluster and Sub-Cluster average sustained bandwidth

Working on a CoW deployment where we will split IM&P subclusters across the WAN. The SRND indicates we should allot 5 Mbps between servers in a subcluster, and 5 Mbps between subclusters. Have you been seeing this type of bandwidth between IM&P servers? We can account for spikes up to these levels but need to set expectations with the WAN team for average bandwidth consumption. Any help is appreciated.

5mb requirement is primarily for initial and/or new user db sync to make sure all data is synced/replicated properly across the nodes/cluster. a

5mb addresses the need for initial user db sync to be successful and within reasonable time.
