Hello, my VoiP phones are on the LAN and I was only allowing certain OUTBOUND ports through my firewall i.e HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP, DNS, SIP 5060 etc.
I found I was only getting one way audio. As soon as I allowed 'ANY' OUTBOUND port through my firewall, the voice communication was perfect.
So what was I missing ? Was it that I needed to allow a large group of UDP ports in the outbound direction to get voice communciation working properly ?
Thank you for any help.

Hi,
Port 5060 (tcp and udp) is only used for signalling.Media uses a different sets of udp ports..
16384 to 32767
You need to allow these also. Also you should disable sip inspection
