Nexus 5010 can't enable ldap feature

Hello all,

I have a question on a Nexus 5010. I'm trying to confirm if I can or can't use ldap for my AAA. I'm running NXOS version 5.1.(1)N1(8b). What I've read is that ldap is supported in version 5.x and if I do a show feature I can see the ldap feature disabled.

But, if I try and enable ldap by using the feature ldap command I get an invalid command. If I type "feature l" then tab I get only lacp and lldp as a legitimate command.

I haven't seen anyone say ldap works on version 5.x but not on the 5010 switch. Any information would be great.

Just to check I tried it on 7k worked fine enabled ldap straight away but when I go to one of my 5596 models as below show feature shows ldap is there to be used but when you try to enable its not available, it states online 7k does not require a licences for ldap but nothing about the 5ks but that's what im thinking the fact its there but cant be enabled as the release doc shows it as a valid feature as well but that's it no further info on it
