Hi,
I have a couple of links that I want to ensure that no one monopolises the bandwidth on with a file copy for examle. Is there any cisco tech that will prevent a session...i.e Source IP, Dest IP, protocol and Port not to exceed lets say 50MB?
Thanks, Lee.

Yes, there is. It would be a Microflow policer, but only available on a subnet of Cisco devices.
BTW, rather than limiting bandwidth, another approch is to more fairly share it, platforms that support FQ do this nicely.

Thank you, I`ll have a read up. FYI the link is a 200MB link used to carry main production traffic to and from a DC, so what ever solution we come up with, we will have to chose wisely.
