RV082 Router setup with dual ISP's always runs at slowest ISP speed.

We have two internet providers,  Cable and AT&T.  Cable is fast and AT&T is slow.  We tried to get a faster service from AT&T but it is not available at our location.  So here is the problem.  We want a fail over setup so we stay up all the time.  If cable only is connected in WAN  port 1 to the router we get the fast speed.  As soon as we connect AT&T into WAN port 2 the user speed drops to the slow AT&T Speed. Is there a way to always run at the cable speed unless cable is down and AT&T takes over?

Hi ,

I think that this problem can be fixed using IPsla to track an IP in the internet.

Implementing an IPsla will ensure that the primary link will be the one in use for all the connections, and that the secondary will only act when the primary goes down.
