Hello, I have a switch

Model: WS-C3750-48PS-S
IOS version: c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE10.bin

It continuosly resets. I downgrade to c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-35.SE5.bin and stops the reboot. The equipment works properly

Anyone have any idea why this happens ?

Sorry but my English ir very bad.

Thanks.

This is the log output

Very strange to see a crash on a known stable IOS, 12.2(55)SE10.

Can you try 12.2(55)SE8?

Hi,

You may have a faulty switch or faulty ram. Try to replace the switch or open a TAC case.I had a switch do  something similar and i had to replace the switch. When i put a larger image image on the switch it would start rebooting. c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-35.SE5.bin is about 8meg and c3750-ipbasek9-mz.122-55.SE10.bin is about 12meg

Thanks

John

I have a doubts.

The switch use the memory flash only store the IOS?what else does she writes in the memory?

Thanks for helping

Gracias por la ayuda.

Sergio

Hi,

The switch stores the IOS on flash but when the switch boots it has to load the IOS into memory. Newer IOS have more features and use more memory.

Thanks

John
