Hello everyone!

At my new work i have a cisco nexus 5548 switch and i never work with it before.

Can anybody explain me how to enable "ping" or "traceroute" command on it?

P.S I hear it may be enabled with "(config)# feature" command...It's true?

Thx in advice

Hi,

You don't need enable any feature to use ping and traceroute commands.

Here the documentation about it:

Ping:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/command/reference/fund/n5k-fund-cr/n5k-fund_cmds_p.html

Traceroute:
