Hello,
I will need to migrate a wireless deployment of about 300 FlexConnect APs from a 5508 HA pair to a single 5520. I'm running 8.1.131.0 on the 5508 pair, and plan on bringing the 5520 up to the same version.
Is it possible to cut and paste certain portions of the configuration into the 5520 from the existing configuration on the 5508? In particular, I want to preserve AP definitions/configurations, FlexConnect groups, AVC profiles, among others.
Thanks in advance for any advice,

Most of the configurations you should be able to copy & paste from 5508 back up. Once you do this via CLI, I still check GUI screens to make sure all settings are ticked appropriately.

Thanks. I will give this a try.
It was surprising to me that individual AP configurations, like name and VLAN support, are not in the WLC configuration file (at least I couldn't find them). They must only be stored on the APs themselves?

Yes, since those are AP specific will be saved on AP itself.
