Hello experts,
I need a suggestion. I have a router 2900 series which is connected with ISP and down streem we have switch with modem. It look like this ISP---- router ----switch SFP -- modem with fiber wan port. The modem is huwaie using in STC. Will it work with cisco router and which configuration i have to done on both ends.

your post is not clear. Can you post a network diagram of the current setup?
You speak of DSL modem and then you speak of a fiber wan port. This is not clear.
And what do you mean with STC? Is it the name of a provider, of a service or the name of a technology?

Sorry to answer late, ISP ---- cisco router ---- switch--fiber -- modem
its the diagram as mentioned above. STC mean Saudi Telecom. modem huwei or acatel. this modem have a wan port of fiber which is directly connected the cisco switch.

Hello,
I think the setup you are trying to build will not work,
because you are trying to connect an FTTH modem to a gigabit Ethernet switch.
You will need an OLT switch to make your setup work generally used by service providers..
