And do you have a live circuit connected to that port??

Or you just configured it??

Assuming all the configuration is fine, if there's no live circuit, it will NEVER register.

You need add below things depending upon T1 or E1 line code and framing, switchtype  will vary

1) Card type-

card type t1/E1 {Slot}

2) Controller config

controller T1
 cablelength long 0db

framing esf*

linecode b8zs*

 pri-group timeslots 1-24 service mgcp
 description PRI

3) Bind serial interface to CCM.

Interface serial0/1/0:23

isdn switch-type primary-4ess

isdn incoming-voice voice

isdn bind-13 ccm-manager>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Very imp

Also add network clock command

network-clock-participate wic X
network-clock-select 1 T1 X/X/X

* means only for T1

I will follow the following and keep you updated also , Thanks for helping me in all topics.

Short question here :

when I try to show the controller the command didn't work.

Please make sure PRI is physically plugged into your MGCP gateway as advised by Jaime .

Also enable the card type and then you should be able to see the controller . You need to use command to configure depending upon whether you have E1 or T1 circuit.

 "Controller T1/E1  X/X/X"

Hi,

from the attachment , u can see u need to add card type command .

version 15.5
service timestamps debug datetime msec
service timestamps log datetime msec
no service password-encryption
!
hostname VG-MHI
!
boot-start-marker
boot-end-marker
!
!
! card type command needed for slot/vwic-slot 0/0

I suppose u are using BE6000S [2921 router] since I can see interface ucse .

After u enable card type in router and enter the required configuration as suggested by Deepak[+5] , u can physically shot the 1,4 and 2,5 pins of RJ-45 cable on open side of E1 cable and check on CUCM for MGCP registration as UP.

regds,

aman

Yes it is BE6S 2921 but I use it only as a VG , I will Plug it today with the teleco and update you all back , Thanks all for Helping

configure framing no-crc4  under controller E1.

also, what is status of show controller e1 and show isdn status on router?

regds,

aman

controller conf attached and ISDN status show that layer 1 is shut down , i think it is cable problem or a problem from teleco side

Global ISDN Switchtype = primary-4ess

%Q.931 is backhauled to CCM MANAGER 0x0003 on DSL 0. Layer 3 output may not apply

ISDN Serial0/0/0:15 interface
        dsl 0, interface ISDN Switchtype = primary-net5
        L2 Protocol = Q.921 0x0000  L3 Protocol(s) = CCM MANAGER 0x0003
    Layer 1 Status:
        SHUTDOWN
    Layer 2 Status:
        TEI = 0, Ces = 1, SAPI = 0, State = TEI_ASSIGNED
    Layer 3 Status:
        0 Active Layer 3 Call(s)
    Active dsl 0 CCBs = 0
    The Free Channel Mask:  0x00000000
    Number of L2 Discards = 0, L2 Session ID = 0
Total Allocated ISDN CCBs = 0

To confirm, if it is really a cable or configuration issue at Telco side, try taking RJ-45 to un- terminated [open] cable and shot TX-RX pairs.

It should be error free.

regds,

aman

I configure it as an E1 as mention in a reply to Jamie and it looks fine on the 2921 but on cucm still unregistred !
