Wireless issues with Cisco 1600 AP and 2504 controller

we have a setup for wireless as below:

1) 13 AP 1602i

2) WLC 2504 IOS image updated to version AIR-CT2500-K9-8-0-121-0

we reconfigure the WLC from scratch and configure LAG feature with 2G interface on switch.

but the Clients still experience slow data speeds, where the internet speed after testing it reach max 8-12Mbps. also i disabled all the AP's and keep only one access point connected with one user. the same issue still available.

is there any suggestion to fix the problem ??? i appreciate your help

Are you using 40Mhz wide channels?

Under Wireless/802.11a/DCA (set channel width to 40Mhz).

You could also try turning off the 2.4Ghz spectrum if it is not being used, to force clients onto the faster 5Ghz spectrum.

What client are you using to test with ? Intel has UAPSD comparability issues. If enabled the client doesn't perform to full potential.

Hi,I see you have done a config from scratch and I assume you've just added the WLANs and haven't touch any of the other settings.I might just try doing a throughput test internally from WLAN to Wired, perhaps using iperf or similar?Have you tried from different clients models?
